Grants are available for not-for-profit organisations to set up one or more new football teams in England over the next two years. There is a total of £1.5 million for 2019. Grants of £1,500 are available to support creation of new football teams.
Organisations are able to receive a grant of £1,500 per new team created over two or three years with financial support being reduced in the second or third year of the project.
Clubs will be required to contribute some elements of cost towards to the new teams; however, evidence of partnership funding will not be requested.
Applicants are advised to discuss their proposals with their local County Football Association’s Development Manager before making an application.
