Grants are available for small-scale, locally-based registered charities in the UK to support children’s summer playschemes. One-off children’s summer playscheme grants of between £500 and £1,000 are available. Around 35 grants are made per year. UK registered charities with an annual turnover of less than £300,000 can apply.
The deadline for applications is 5 April 2019. The Trustees will meet in May to award grants for summer play schemes that take place in July and August 2019 (that are at least 10 days long).
Applications are accepted once a year, usually from around February to mid April, and are considered at the Trustees’ meeting in May. An application form can be found on the Trust’s website: http://woodwardcharitabletrust.org.uk/. The completed form should be returned by email.
