Grants of between £150,000 and £700,000 are available for a minimum of three years and a maximum of five years.

Proposals should be working on two or more of the following areas:
- Tackling stigma and discrimination.
- Increasing access to quality service provision.
- Strategic / systemic changes at local and/or national level.
There is a two-stage application process:
The deadline for the first stage applications is 12 noon on 28 June 2019.
Shortlisted applications will have a further three weeks to submit a full proposal. The deadline for second stage applications is 12 noon on 13 September 2019.
Stage two proposals will then be shortlisted for a full assessment
Once assessments are completed, the funding decisions will be made by the Comic Relief Trustees by the end of January 2020.
Application is via GEM, the online application and grant management system used by Comic Relief. It can be found on the Comic Relief website under ‘Apply now’.
