Grants are available to UK registered charities for projects that promote and enhance physical and mental welfare, including for hospice appeals and homeless appeals.
Funding is at the discretion of the Trustees. The Trust awarded around £1,775,000 in grants last year. Applications can be submitted at any time and will be considered on a ‘regular’ basis.
Although most grants are for between £1,000 and £5,000, grants for higher amounts, for example £10,000 or £25,000, are also awarded.
The Trust does not maintain a website nor does it have a formal application form.
Charitable organisations are asked to submit appeals to the Trustees by letter (see below for address) containing the following:
- Aims and objectives of the charity.
- Nature of the appeal.
- Total target if for a specific project.
- Contributions received against target.
- Registered charity number.
- Any other relevant factors.
