Grants are available to Armed Forces charities for projects and activities that support the mental health and well-being of veterans. The Positive Pathways Programme has a total budget of up to £9 million.
The following one-off, fixed flat rates of funding are available towards project costs: £35,000 for one year or £70,000 for two years.
Those receiving a grant under the Positive Pathways Programme will be aided by larger organisations funded under the Strategic Pathways Programme to help connect their work with wider networks that support veterans’ mental health. This is a rolling programme with multiple rounds. Applications received by the following dates will be assessed as follows:
- 6 September 2019 (5pm) to receive a decision by end of November 2019.
- 29 November 2019 (5pm) to receive a decision by end of February 2020.
- 6 March 2020 (5pm) to receive a decision by end of May 2020.
