Suitable for charities and non-profit organisations in the UK whose main objective is to find homes for pets in the UK and support pet rescues. Grants of up to £10,000 or up to 30% of total annual expenditure, whichever is the lower amount, is available.
The grants are aimed at projects that have a direct impact on the welfare of domestic animals in rescue and funding is available for purposes that:
- Make a real difference to the welfare of UK domestic pets in rescue.
- Aim to reduce the number of domestic pets in rescue.
In light of the current coronavirus/COVID-19 situation, the charity will currently only fund vet bills, boarding costs, food, salaries of (non-furloughed) animal care staff, utilities and consumables.
Help with running costs (vet bills or boarding costs) are capped at 20% of a rescues annual expenditure.
There are no deadlines and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. In the first instance, applicants should contact the Grant Funding Coordinator to discuss their application and get access to the application form. Applications must be submitted by email.
