Emergency funding is available for frontline homelessness charitable organisations in England who are directly affected by the coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak. A total of £6 million will be awarded in grants. Match funding is not required.
- The size of the grant available depends on the turnover of the organisation:
- Turnover of less than £100,000: grants of £10,000.
- Turnover of between £100,000 and £ 1 million: minimum grant size is £10,000; maximum grant size is 10% of the organisation’s turnover.
- Turnover of between £1 million and £5 million: minimum grant size is £25,000; maximum grant size is £100,000.
The fund is open to applications. The first application deadline is 27 May 2020.
Funding for the first round will be awarded in June 2020. There will be further opportunities to apply for funding in this financial year.
